As a sponsor of the CXBL, Canada's largest online paintball store, BuyPBL would like to thank all the players for competing in this year's border battle event. For some, it was tough to witness the 13-7 loss for the Eastern team, but the Central fans couldn't be happier witnessing the amazing comeback!

Going into this game everyone was expecting something big. There is smack talk all over the online forums and at the fields, but what happened during the game was penalties. There were 17 penalties with a total of 52 penalty minutes during this years 50 minute Border Battle game.

The game started off looking great for the Eastern team, taking a quick 4-1 lead because of a major and a minor for Central, but thats when the penalties started to kick in for the East as well. Central kept their heads up and stayed calm. After last year's tie, everybody wanted to see who would win this year. Central came out stronger in the end. The last flag hang was a great moment for Central, having their captain Todd Ancich bring in and hang the flag for the win!

Eastern's coach Wissam Salman made excuses for Central to use “when Central loses”, but now, the one needing the excuses is, none other than Wissam himself.
